The Regimental Institute Online Store is now open 24 hours a day. This long awaited access to 3rd Battalion clothing and memorabilia store located in Townsville Barracks is now available to the general public. Please advertise widely. The 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment is a mechanised infantry battalion of the Australian Army, based in Townsville as part of the 3rd Brigade. 3 RAR was initially formed in 1945 as the 67th Battalion and has seen active service in Japan, Korea, Malaya, South Vietnam, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, Afghanistan and Iraq. PENDING The Web Master is the planning coordinator for the coming 2021 50th Anniversary 3rd Battalion RAR Vietnam 1971 Canberra Reunion The proposed official supplier for the 50th Anniversary Reunion merchandise will be the Military Shop, located at 65 Kembla Street Fyshwick ACT, Australia Merchandise Examples Phone: (02) 6123 2950 At this stage it is too early to decide on a definitive range however as we near the 2021 reunion personalised merchandise will be developed via the military shop. Some merchandise developed for the 3rd Battalion RAR 1st Tour Vietnam reunion which occurred in 2018 is still available and may suite your current needs.
